Morgan Blom delivered the game-winning hit and the Pella Christian softball team was able to overcome six errors to defeat Oskaloosa 5-4 in nine innings on Monday night at Pella Christian High School.

Blom was one of three batters with two hits, as the Lady Eagles had 11 hits combined.  Tessa Howerzyl was 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, while Morgan’s sister Paige was also 2-for-4 at the plate.

Paige Blom pitched all nine innings as well, allowing six hits and three walks, while striking out six batters to earn the win.

The Pella Christian softball team is now 14-7 overall and 8-4 in the Little Hawkeye Conference, with a non-conference match-up at Washington tonight.
