Pleasantville Girls Take Home Championship Hardware In Class 2A; Pella’s Van Tasell 42nd in Class 3A Golf

Pleasantville has won the class 2A Girls State Golf title as the Trojans led from wire-to-wire. Pleasantville shot a two-day total of 730 to outpace Wapello by eight shots.

Pleasantville was led individually by Konnor Gordon who finished in 16th place with a two-day total of 180.

During the season, Pleasantville only lost one time that was in the regional when they Trojans finished second to Clarinda who placed third at the state meet.

In class 3A Pella’s Kelsey Van Tasell finished 42nd with a two-day total of 207, following a second-round score of 102 at the River Valley Golf Club.
