Sweet corn lovers have to wait just a little bit longer for the local crop to start coming in. Dan Dennison, owner of Dan-D Farms, says that he thinks his first sweet corn batch will be read sometime in mid-July. Dennison explains that the first couple of batches he planted in April had to be replanted, because it either was too wet, too cold, or both. But, he adds, the crop is looking good now, and that there should be plenty to harvest when the time comes.
