Marion County Sherriff’s Officials say that a two car-accident on Highway 14 was caused by man operating while intoxicated. The Sheriff’s Office says that at just after one am on Friday morning that Monte M. Dilliner, Jr. rammed his vehicle into the back of another going southbound on Highway 14. Authorities responded and charged Dilliner with OWI 3rd offense, willful injury, driving with a revoked license, and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. The driver of the second vehicle was treated at Knoxville Area Community Hospital for a bruised forehead and released. The incident is still under investigation by the Marion County’s Sheriff’s Office.
