You could say it was redemption night at the Knoxville Raceway last night. All three winners have had their share of hard luck or just finishing runner up a number of times this season. In the 410 A-Main Danny Lasoski after the last two races finishing in second place got by Josh Schneiderman on a restart midway through and held on for his 97th career win at Knoxville. Chad Humston may have had the toughest luck of any driver in the last few weeks. He crashed out of the last two feature races…but last night made sure everyone knew he was the class of the field in the 360s and won going away for his first victory of 2011. While Lasoski and Humston were frustrated with their finishes…Tasker Phillips finally got the car running the way he wanted and took the 305 win for his first win since last season at Knoxville. The night however was marred by a violent crash in turn one at the start of the 410 A-Main that injured a rescue worker when he was stuck by debris from the crash. The worker was taken to Knoxville Hospital and Clinics with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
