The All-Star Circuit of Champions will be making a stop at the Knoxville Raceway the week before the 51st Annual Knoxville Nationals on August 6th. The All-Stars race mainly in the eastern part of the United States and in Ohio. However for the past several seasons they have had their Thunder Through the Plains around the same time as the Nationals. Knoxville Raceway Director of Marketing Brian Stickel says the All-Stars will give the Knoxville drivers a challenge and thinks the Knoxville drivers will do the same. Stickel added that it will be hard to tell just how many of the All-Star regulars will show up that night. Drivers like Dale Blaney, Stevie Smith, Daryn Pittman, Greg Wilson, and reigning Knoxville Nationals Champion Tim Shaffer are scheduled to be in Knoxville that week for the night of racing which also is championship night of the 360 Nationals. The All-Stars will then move their show to the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa for the Front Row Challenge on August eighth.
