Marion County gained a split at the class 1A first round baseball district at Twin Cedars last night. Rain pushed the start times of the games back an hour and a half but Twin Cedars benefitted by clobbering Moulton-Udell 14-3 in six innings. In the opener Melcher-Dallas fell to Moravia 5-1. The Saints finish the season 9-9 while Twin Cedars advanced to play Moravia tomorrow night in the district semi-final.
