Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann made a campaign stop in Pella Saturday afternoon. The Republican presidential candidate stopped at Jaarsma’s Bakery and Ulrich’s Meat Market to try some local fare.

KNIA/KRLS News spoke with Bachmann on her tour bus.

She says as the debt limit debate continues, she wants to see big cuts in federal spending without endangering the full faith and credit of the United States.

Her talk about refusing to raise the debt limit softened when told the CEO of a local business has spoken in favor of raising the limit in order to maintain market stability.
