The Marion County Extension Office is hosting a farmland leasing meeting next month in Pella. Attendees will learn about current land value and cash rental rate surveys, types of lease arrangements, determining fair cash rent and strategies for writing and terminating a farm lease. The meeting will be at the Comfort Inn Wednesday, August 3rd at 9 am and should last about 2 and a half hours.
