The Marion County Fair officially kicks off Friday. Events are planned throughout the day and begin at 9:30 am with the Clover Kids Critter Show at the Show Pavillion.

The Pet Show is at 10 o’clock, also in the Show Pavilion. At noon, the Bucket-of-Flowers Silent Auction Bids will be open at Deyer-Hudson.

Livestock will be checking in throughout the afternoon and at 6 pm, the Pinewood Derby Race will start at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum and finally, the Grandstand entertainment for the evening, 7 Bridges Road and Edge of Forever will perform at 7:30
