The Knoxville Softball Squad lost in heartbreaking fashion to Oskaloosa in the first round of the class 3A Regional last night. The Indians got a run in the bottom of the seventh to take the win three/two. Osky was able to get a run across early on to make it 1-0 and it looked as if it would hold as pitcher Kenzie Gott was took a perfect game into the seventh inning when she walked Katie Ayers to lose the perfect game and immediately threw away the no-hitter when Gretchen Hileman ripped an R-B-I triple to score Ayers, then Kylee Bishop reached on an error and scored Hileman to tie the game at two. However the Indians would plate a run in the bottom half of the seventh to get the win. Knoxville finishes the season at 8-21 on the season.
