IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO EIGHTEEN CALLS FOR SERVICE, including but not limited to three vehicle unlocks, two civil issues, two reports of livestock in the roadway, two reports of harassment, two reports of reckless drivers, one report of an underage party, one report of fireworks, one report of theft, one report of debris in the roadway, one request for a welfare check, one dog bite, and one personal injury accident.

THE MARION COUNTY JAIL IS CURRENTLY HOLDING TWENTY THREE SUBJECTS.

IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS ONE SUBJECT WAS BOOKED INTO THE MARION COUNTY JAIL;
Michael Lynn Carroll operating while intoxicated, open container, and excessive speed
AS WITH ANY CRIMINAL CASE, A CHARGE IS MERELY AN ACCUSATION AND A DEFENDANT IS PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL AND UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY
