The Fitch Group, one of the “Big Three” credit ratings agencies also including Moody’s and S&P, has just given Pella Regional Health Center its BBB- long term credit rating for its $46.7 million in revenue bonds and also determined that rating outlook is stable.

The BBB- designation is for medium class companies viewed as satisfactory at the moment.

The review highlighted the facility’s designation as a Critical Access Hospital, which the agency believes means health operating profitability in the future.

The ratings are important in providing government entities information about the financial standing of a particular institution.
