Rain Holds Off For Great Ag In The City

Under a cloudy, but rain free sky, Ag in the City came to Pella last night. Hundreds turned out to get a look at the equipment displays along Franklin and Main streets.

The Marion County Cattlemen served up beef dinners for the crowd.

On the Tulip Toren stage, Kala Miller, representing Twin Cedars FFA won the goat milking contest over Mark Williams, milking for Pella FFA.

Following that was the pet show, where Lindsey Jansen and her border collie Trigger took top prize. The evening was capped off with entertainment from the Heartland Boot Scooters and Danny Grause.
