Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum marched in the annual 4th of July parade in Pella. KNIA/KRLS News spoke with the former Pennsylvania Senator just before the parade began. He says he chose to come to Pella again because the message he’s sending out during this campaign season resonates here. Asked what he thought about Republicans who are choosing to focus on other states early in the campaign, Santorum said he didn’t know what they’re afraid of. He says he’ll be spending lots of time in Marion County in the run up to the 2012 election.
