Hopes for the Pella High softball team to reach the State Tournament will have to wait one more day, as Tuesday’s rain showers throughout the state forced the postponement of several tournament games.

Among the contests pushed back by wet conditions was the Class 3A Region 6 Semifinal between Clear Creek-Amana and Vinton-Shellsburg. The game had already been postponed once and is now scheduled to take place tonight in Oxford.

The winner will take on the Lady Dutch on Thursday night – also in Oxford. The first pitch of that contest is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on 92.1 fm KRLS.
