[simage=5300,200,y,left] Knoxville City Manager Harold Stewart is looking at restructuring the way salaries are set for non-union city employees. Stewart would like to set a minimum and a maximum that each position can receive, based on what the position requires. He says that he thinks the city is already doing something similar, but it’s not to the degree that he would like to have it done at. He says he’s working on the specifics right now before bringing a recommendation to the Council in the near future.
