Supervisors Vote to Close Three Bridges

The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session yesterday morning. At the meeting, they approved the closure of three bridges. Two are located near the Jasper County line west of Monroe. The third is on 155th Ave. north of Highway 163.

They also passed a motion to prepare contract documents to repair three sections of road – Newbold Drive, east of Highway 5; 210th Place, south of Idaho Drive; and 190th Ave, south of County Road G-28 and they discussed upkeep at the Marion County Care Facility with Administrator Barb Adam, including fixing issues with a leaking roof on one of the buildings.
