It’s late July, temperatures are hovering near triple digits and the sun continues to beat down on the midwest. For many, this time of year presents a big challenge to keeping lawns looking full, green and lush. Dave Nunnikhoven with Dutch Meadows Lawn Care says even though lawns look dry, if they can’t be watered completely, it may be best not to water them at all. He says it takes a very long time and a lot of water to keep a lawn fully hydrated, and not watering enough could inhibit root growth.
