Knoxville will be the site of the 1000th Habitat for Humanity house built in Iowa. One of the two houses currently being built on the corner of Harlan and Marion will be designated as the 1000th house, according to Marion County Habitat for Humanity Executive Director Lisa Houser. Houser says that there is a celebration being planned for October 1st, the date the two houses are scheduled to be completed and turned over to the families.
