The Pella Public Works Department has announced a road closure for next week. Franklin Street at East 1st will be closed to all traffic while pavement repairs are completed in the area. Some work will also be done on the sidewalk and crosswalk areas and North-South traffic on East 1st will be allowed at that time. The closure goes into effect at 6 am Monday and provided there are no complications, the street will reopen by Friday afternoon.
