One person is dead and two are injured after an accident on Highway 92 just east of Tracy yesterday. The Iowa State Patrol says they, Clay Township Rescue, the Mahaska County Sheriff’s Office, and Mahaska County Rescue all responded the scene of the fatal accident. Iowa State Patrol reports state that a Dodge Durango driven by 47-year-old Doreen Agan, of Oskaloosa, crossed over the center line on Highway 92, and struck a motorcycle being driven by 32-year-old Benjamin Coffman, of Williamsburg. 70-year-old Philip Jones, of Williamsburg, was also injured after he swerved the motorcycle he was driving to avoid Agan’s vehicle. All three were taken to Mahaksa County Hospital, where Coffman later died. The accident remains under investigation.
