The PCM football team holds steady to its spot in the Class 2A rankings in the latest Radio Iowa Poll. After downing Knoxville 40-14 on Friday, the Mustangs are still no. 6 going into week two.

Awaiting PCM is the chance to avenge a lopsided loss to Madrid from last season. The Tigers lost considerable talent from last year’s squad, as was evident in their 58-0 shutout loss to West Marshall last Friday.

In front of PCM in Class 2A is no. 1-ranked Iowa City Regina, which takes on 3A no. 1 Solon this week. After that, it’s North Fayette, West Marshall, South Central Calhoun, and Central Lyon/GLR.
