The Marion County Master Gardeners donated almost $700 to Marion County Habitat for Humanity earlier this week. The money was raised during their 2011 Garden Tour, which took place in the Knoxville area last month. Gardens included in the tour were the Fromanek’s, the Sprafka’s, Arvilia Bailey’s, Karin Graham’s, Sherry Green’s, the Bob and Randy Wilson farm, and the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden. This is the second year that the Marion County Master Gardeners have used the Garden tour as a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity.
