The Pella City Council met in regular session last night. During the meeting, the Council approved a bid of $1.3 million from Pieperline Construction of Milwaukee for work on the southeast switching station and another from Trachte Inc. for $208,000 for the adjacent control building. The Council also passed a resolution for Central College Moving Days that will close Broadway Street between University and Peace August 20th and 22nd between 6 am and 6 pm.
