Iowa’s annual Sales Tax Holiday is going on this weekend. This is the 12th year for the holiday which suspends state sales tax on select retail items, mostly clothing and footwear as families prepare to send kids back to school. Pella Chamber of Commerce Director Karen Eischen says this is great opportunity to support local business and take advantage of significant savings locally.
