Riders from the American Motorcycle Association will be in Knoxville this weekend for the A-M-A Pro flat track motorcycle races. Today gets started at three-30 with practice and qualifying for the 25 lap main event for the pro riders. One rider, Jared Mees, who is the points leader of the twins division says going to a track like Knoxville for the first time, says practice will be very important early on. Mees adds while Knoxville is now a completely flat track they have raced at venues comparable to the Knoxville Raceway half mile. Racing will get going at around seven-30 tonight with the singles class then the Twin Pro Riders will take to the track for their heat races.
