The women’s and men’s soccer programs at Central College continue an action-packed start to the season today, when they host Nebraska Wesleyan in a women’s-men’s doubleheader.

The Central women are off to their best start since 2005 and with a win would already exceed their season total from last year. The Prairie Wolves are 1-2 overall and hold a 7-1 lead in the all-time series. The Central women carry a 2-0 record into the match.

On the men’s side, the Dutch are 1-1 after a narrow loss to No. 19 Washington University in St. Louis. Last season Central shut-out Nebraska Wesleyan 2-0, but the Prairie Wolves hold a 6-3 advantage in the all-time series. The women’s soccer match begins at 3:00 p.m. today with the men starting at 5:00 p.m. at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex in Pella.
