The first two deer hunting seasons begin this weekend. Seasons for youth and disabled hunters will run until October 2nd. All youth hunters must be accompanied by a licensed mentor. Hunting hours are from 30 minutes before sun up to a half hour past sun down. Last year, 8,500 youth and more than 200 disabled hunters harvested more than 3,000 dear.
