Overcoming a slow start, the Central men’s soccer team rattled off four unanswered goals to defeat Monmouth College 4-2 Wednesday.

Down 0-2 in the first 20 minutes of play, the Dutch changed personnel and strategy, and picked up a big change in momentum, thanks to freshman midfielder Chris Poesh, who scored the first two goals of his career within 24 minutes of each other, then assisted on the go-ahead score.

The Central men’s soccer team is now 4-2 overall and returns home for a non-conference game Saturday with Division II Truman State.
