Hundreds in Knoxville were without power around noon yesterday after an emergency repair had to be made. Mid-American Energy spokesperson Tina Potthoff says that at around 11:46 am, power went out around much of the northern part of the city of Knoxville after an unscheduled replacement of a piece of equipment. The outage affected more than 1500 people, according to Potthoff. Full power was restored at 12:30pm.
