Knoxville Grinds Out A 5 Set Win Over Grinnell

The Knoxville Volleyball Squad had to come from behind to beat Grinnell last night in a five game marathon. The Panthers would lose two of the first three sets to the Tigers before ripping off the last two to get the win. Grinnell struck first winning the first set 25/22 however, Knoxville evened the match with a 25/16 win in set two. Grinnell set Knoxville to the brink of defeat with a win over the Panthers in game three in a deuce filled 32/30 game. However Knoxville took games four and five by scores of 25/22 and 15/13. Chambray Daugherty led the way with 12 kills while Emily Lee was 26/27 serving. Knoxville is now 5-6 on the season and 1-1 in the Little Hawkeye Conference.
