A Knoxville man has been charged with attempted murder. 56-year-old Anthony Stuckey is in Marion County jail after a domestic dispute this afternoon. Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada tells KNIA/KRLS News that at 2:16 this afternoon, Knoxville Police Officers responded to the 200 block of N. 6th Street at the report of shots fired. Losada says that a 55-year-old woman told officers a man was shooting at her through her bedroom door. When they arrived on the scene, officers recovered a handgun and arrested Stuckey. Chief Losada says additional charges are being considered. Stuckey is listed as a sex offender on the Iowa Sex Offender Registry. Marion County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted on the call.
