Knoxville schools have announced their preliminary plans for their laptop rollouts in November. The dates for the rollouts are November 7 for middle school students, and November 10 for high school students. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that each rollout will start with a presentation about care and responsibilities, cyber safety, and a review of regulations. Students will then go to a pre-assigned classroom to pick up their computers and sign acceptable use policy forms. Flack says he is impressed with the time teachers have spent with their laptops, learning how to use them as an effective tool.
