A dominating victory over tradition-rich Madrid helped push the PCM football team higher in the latest Radio Iowa High School football poll. The Mustangs enter week three of the season with the No. 4 ranking in Class 2A, up two spots from last week, following a 49-12 beatdown of the Tigers.

Elsewhere in the Class 2A poll, Iowa City Regina maintains their spot at the top, with West Marshall and South Central Calhoun taking the remaining spots in front of PCM.

The Mustangs take on Colfax-Mingo in Monroe on Friday night to open the District 8 schedule.
