Rested up after a week that featured two meets in three days, the Pella Christian cross country teams are preparing to return to the course today, as they’ll take part in the Oskaloosa Invite. Eagles’ head coach Jocelyn Meinders says there is one notable change in the meet that she think will provide a good challenge for her runners.

“We are going to have full varsity [teams] for both guys and girls, so that right there will be a change for them. Just to see how they can do at a varsity level,” says Meinders. “The varsity and the JV [races] will be separate this time, so they’ll have a chance to run against only varsity runners, and I think they’ll do ok.”

The meet begins at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon in Oskaloosa.
