Another chance at picking up a victory lies in front of the Pella volleyball team, as the Lady Dutch return home this evening. Pella is in the midst of a a rough skid, having lost their previous three matches in straight 0-3 sweeps.

Head coach Bob Fessler says though it sounds obvious, his team simply needs to work on the cause-and-effect relationship between defense and passing and finding success on offense.

“We just continue to have to piece these things together. We really play a cause-and-effect game,” says Fessler. “When we don’t move our feet, we don’t pass well, and therefore, our hitters don’t have a chance. When we do the right things and we pass the ball well, all of the sudden we have an offense.”

Pella welcomes Centerville to the Tulip City tonight for a 7:15 p.m. start time in Pella High School’s West Gym. The Lady Dutch are 2-13 overall.
