About 105 tractors chugged through southern Marion County yesterday as part of the 10th Annual Greater Southeast Iowa Fall Tractor Ride. Yesterday was the first day of the three day event. Tractors started riding out of Albia early in the morning, going north on Highway 5 and stopping at Kinfolks in Attica at around 9:30 am. Riders came from as far away as Illinois and Kentucky. One rider, Bert Stonoff, says that you can see and hear things a lot better at 15 miles per hour than 55. The tractors continued on G-76 yesterday to Lacona on their way to Indianola, where they spent the night Wednesday.
