Two area track and field coaches have been named at large Coaches of the Year by the Iowa Association of Track and Field Coaches. Knoxville Boys Coach Mike Cunningham the Second along with Pella Girls Coach Dak Rasmussen have been named class three-A at large Coaches of the Year. Cunningham led his Panther squad to a Little Hawkeye Conference title and a seventh place finish at the State Track Meet while Rasmussen led his Lady Dutch squad to the L-H-C title and a sixth place finish at the State Meet this past spring. Cunningham and Rasmussen will be recognized at the association’s banquet on December tenth in Ames.
