Missouri River Energy Services Spokesman Bill Radio visited with Knoxville citizens to discuss the hydroelectric power plant that is being planned at the Lake Red Rock Dam. Radio says that the main benefit Knoxville will see is economic. During the three years of construction, he said that there will be an average of 400 additional jobs in the area, with a peak of 700 in the second year. He added that environmentally and recreationally, there will be almost no noticeable change. He says the Corps will still control flow, and that they have no plans to disturb or take over campgrounds during construction.
