Knoxville Hopes Home Course Advantage In Today’s 3A District/Regional

Cross country enters postseason today with various meets across the state. In Knoxville…Pine Knolls Country Club will host a 1A and a 3A District/Regional. Panthers Coach Mike Moats feels his team has a distinct home course advantage due to how hilly Pine Knolls is. Pella will join the Panthers at Pine Knolls today with the girl’s race getting underway at around five. The 1A meet will consist of 26 schools including Twin Cedars and Pleasantville boys. The 1A girl’s race will get the starter’s pistol at around 3:30. Meanwhile, the Pleasantville girls will head to the Class 2A meet in Ames along with P-C-M and Pella Christian.
