The Knoxville Football Squad makes the trip to Perry Friday night. Last season the Bluejays ran all over Knoxville for 397 yards. While Knoxville for the most part has struggled all season to stop the run…last Friday’s win over Saydel, Knoxville held the Eagles to just 80 yards on the ground. Coach Troy Rider says Perry will do a lot of running Friday, but the Bluejays will also spread it out, too. Rider says game planning may be more difficult for a team that has multiple formations, but he and the coaching staff will look at it as a challenge. The Panthers can play more a spoiler role for a Perry team that knocked them out of a playoff spot last season. With a Knoxville win Perry would be in a must win situation next Friday to have a chance to make the fourth playoff spot out of Class 3A District eight.
