It’s a three day weekend for students in Knoxville, and the Knoxville Science Club is taking advantage by making their annual fall trip. About 23 members of the Knoxville Science Club and their chaperones will leave on 7am Friday morning to go to Chicago. Knoxville High School Science Teacher Ryan Richardson says that they will stop at a number of locations in the city, including a particle physics research facility, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Field Museum of Natural History. They’ll return Sunday afternoon. Richardson says this is a great experience, as students can experience what they study first-hand.
