Even though we haven’t seen much rain lately, levels at Lake Red Rock are about to go up a couple of feet. The Corps of Engineers will raise levels from 742.5 to 744.5 feet for the Fall waterfowl migration season. The elevation comes at the request of the Department of Natrural Resources and is intended to put water into cover and food resource areas for the waterfowl as they pass through on their journey south. The level will remain raised until mid-December.
