Low Interest Rates Mean Good Deals For Consumers

The Federal Reserve is coming off record low interest rates recently as investors have been turning to the perceived safety of US Treasury Bonds as other markets show signs uncertainty. Those low rates have in turn driven mortgage rates to near record lows. Diane Roose with Marion County Bank says now could be a time for some to consider adjusting their mortgage. She says when considering refinancing, a rule of thumb is if you can save one percent on your interest rate, it’s worth the time to refinance.
