The Melcher-Dallas Football Squad clinched the championship in Eight-Man District Five with a 60-24 win over Meskwaki Settlement Scholl last night. The Saints are now 8-0 on the season and 6-0 in district play. Melcher-Dallas will go for its first unbeaten regular season since 1975 next week at Seymour.

Meanwhile, Twin Cedars stayed in the neighborhood all night with Moravia, but in the end the Mo-Hawks prevailed 44-26. Twin Cedars is now 3-5 on the season. The Sabers will finish out regular season play next week at against Meskwaki Settlement School with hopes of getting into the eight-man playoffs.
