IN THE PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS THE MARION COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES RESPONDED TO TWENTY SIX CALLS FOR SERVICE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, SEVEN EXTRA PATROLS, FOUR MOTORIST ASSISTS, FOUR ACCIDENTS, TWO DOGS, ONE TRANSPORT, ONE REPORT OF HARRASSMENT, ONE FIRE, ONE RECKLESS DRIVER, ONE SUSPICIOUS PERSON, ONE ATTEMPT AT PAPER SERVICE, ONE ALARM, ONE RESCUE, AND ONE OTHER CALL FOR SERVICE.

Congratulations to Pella High School Cross Country Team

The Pella Cross Country Team are coming home winners from the state meet in Ames. Pella Boys took Class 3-A first place and Girls took third. The team will meet the public at the square in Pella around 8:15 this evening. A fire truck escort will lead a celebratory processional from the square to the high school for a celebration in the parking lot, fans are encouraged to follow the parade and attend the ceremony to cheer on our state winners!
