Another very winnable game awaits the PCM football team tonight in Truro, but the Mustangs are making sure to not look ahead of tonight’s opponent.

Though Interstate-35 has dropped their last three games after starting the season 4-0, PCM head coach Greg Bonnett says the Roadrunners are better than their record has shown and will continue to do the same things they’ve done in the past that have made them a good football team.

“The thing about I-35 is – historically speaking – they always have good running backs and run the ball really, really tough. And our guys know that,” says Bonnett.

“They [Interstate-35] have three guys that have each rushed for over 300 yards, they can spread the ball around, and they have a scheme that can be deceptive if you don’t know what you’re looking at or make bad reads.

“They’re definitely no one to be overlooked at all, regardless of their record. And I don’t care what their record is. They got off to some bad starts [in games] where they never recovered, but when they were winning, they were very impressive.”

PCM tries to keep their 7-0 record intact tonight in Truro. You can hear coverage of the match-up between the Mustangs and Roadrunners live on kniakrls.com with David Hecht and Mark Amadeo; starting at 6:30 p.m. tonight.
