The Pella City Council met in regular session last night. During the meeting, the Council voted to sell the city’s interest in the Walter Scott Power Plant in Council Bluffs for just over $26 million, a move that will help the city to retire it’s electric utility debt. The Council also voted to change the zoning of two residential properties on Prairie street from Industrial to Commercial Community.
