It seems the Pella High volleyball team was able to carry a bit of momentum from this past weekend’s tournament play with them into this week, as the Lady Dutch downed a solid Grinnell squad 3-0 last night in the Tigers’ home gym. Pella’s wins came by scores of 25-21, 25-17 and 25-22.

It was the first Little Hawkeye Conference win of the season for the Lady Dutch, who have had more than their fair share of struggles on the way to a 5-17 overall record.

They’ll host the Pella Invite this Saturday, which will be held at Pella Christian High School to accommodate the additional teams competing while the new gym floor at Pella’s East Gym is being completed.
